Workshop Overview
This short workshop is the first of our neuroscience workshops and explains how the brain develops, connects and demonstrates how experiences shape that brain development.

- Understand how the brain develops from conception
- Define what synaptic pruning is
- Consider how adverse experiences impact on healthy brain development
- Explore how this impacts on how children approach new tasks and learning
